NOTES: 1. The documents of Siri Guru Granth Sahib in the customary format have been created in such a way that on most commonly used computer systems a correct number of pages will be displayed (1430 in all). However, on some computers depending upon their printer set-up the displayed number of pages of MS Word documents may be more than the actual. This problem can be easily fixed by reducing the left & right margins of the documents. In rare instances, it may also require a slight adjustment of the paragraph indentation/margins of some of the headline paragraphs. Acrobat Reader files always display proper number of pages because the page numbers of Acrobat Reader files do not change with the change of printer setup. 2. For the purpose of eliminating typing errors, the Gurbani-CD text has been compared with Siri Guru Granth Sahib Bir published in March 1994 by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandak Committee, Amritsar. Anyone trying to investigate the spelling accuracy of the text of Siri Guru Granth Sahib given on the Gurbani-CD should only compare the text with the cited publication. The given references regarding page and line numbers in all the documents on the Gurbani-CD tally with the above cited publication. |
